The three watches created by Jean-Michel Folon for Swatch, Le Temps (GZ108), Voir (GZ109) and Perspective (GZ106) have the bold and graphic simplicity of its popular designs. Their blue plastic bracelets guide the gaze towards the dials printed with the scenes oscillating between abstract and figurative forms of pencil lines in colors varying from blue to green through yellow and even, occasionally, red. The numbers are noticeable by their absence, the dials have fine hands for the hours and minutes, bright red, yellow and blue. Brilliantly balanced in terms of formal composition, these three works are an open invitation to explore the illustrated, lively and creative perspective of the artist on contemporary urban life. Original battery (1987) to be replaced after more than 30 years.
